Interior Design Administrative Assistant


Job Type: Full-time Experience: Administrative Assistant, 1 year (Preferred) Full Job Description: Design Assistant/Office Manager- Interior Design Office We are looking for a full-time administrative professional. Candidate will manage projects to completion with a clear understanding of all obligations and accountability. Excellent customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. They must have a ‘hands on’ approach, be highly motivated, creative with well-articulated conversational skills. This role presents a wonderful opportunity for the right person. Responsibilities: Will be responsible for (but not limited to) executing and creating proposals, placing, and tracking orders, gathering accurate estimates from trades people, coordinating deliveries and installations, maintaining a timeline for ordered merchandise for efficient installations. Person will develop and maintain great working relationships with fellow professionals including new clients, fellow interior designers, editors, builders, architects, contractors, artisans and craftspeople to ensure excellence in construction and fabrication while learning and exploring new ideas and opportunities. Candidate should have knowledge of industry resources (D&D, Fabric Companies, Furniture Companies Etc.) Candidate (preferably) already be proficient in Houzz Pro (or is willing to train and learn). This is necessary for creating proposals and tracking orders. Own transportation is required. Education/Experience: · Graduate of an accredited program for an Associate or Bachelor’s degree. · Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a interior design firm. · Knowledge of relevant computer software including Microsoft Office: (Houzz Pro, Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Photoshop).




Junior Interior Designer


Join us on our mission if you are a Junior Interior Designer who has:

  • Professional degree in Interior design or Architecture and 0-3 years professional experience as a junior interior designer or Junior Architect with focus on Interiors
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English- spoken and written
  • Strong conceptual and design skills
  • Ability to develop design options in collaboration with and for consideration of design team
  • Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project
  • Should have strong ability with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite (Revit is a plus)
  • Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget own time
  • Willingness to take on constructive guidance in response to direction from managers
  • A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working
  • Experience as a junior interior designer on built and published references is preferred
  • Experience working in a leading American or international architectural interiors office is preferred
