PROCESS AND SERVICES
THE MAP,
IN PRACTICE
A PERSONALIZED FRAMEWORK
Before your first meeting, Fabrizia will ask you a few biographical questions. Then a one-on-one meeting itself may be held in person or through a video conference call. It will last between two and three hours and will be recorded to capture all the details.
This initial meeting may feel like a reading or even a therapy session. The questions may seem entirely unrelated to interior design, but are intended to help Fabrizia develop a deep understanding of your personality. These questions are based on the 22 Arcana, or areas of the self, of the Tarot. They include Conflict, Emotional Key, Family, Work, Balance, and so forth.
As the session progresses, you may find yourself unearthing preferences, behaviors, or emotions that you previously hadn’t considered relevant to your home’s design. Indeed, your concept of home itself may change.
Here’s an example. A client who is energized by working at young companies with dynamic start-up cultures may resist repetition and routine. Fabrizia could address this client’s need for stimulation by proposing an open-concept plan with modular furniture so that the space can easily be reconfigured to suit their mood. Rooms may feature bright or intense colors versus the tone-on-tone palette favored by some.
After the meeting, Fabrizia will send you a digital recording of the session along with your personalized Map of Opportunities and Map Design Board. These documents are a thorough, individualized account of all 22 personality categories—both your acknowledged traits and the previously unknown ones that may have emerged in the meeting. The documents will explain how certain traits may manifest in the home, with notes on what to avoid and what to consider in the final design. They will also include curated visuals to help you reimagine your space.
If you opt to continue working with EVA Society after reviewing your Map of Opportunities and Map Design Board, you have three tiers to choose from. Pricing will differ based on your budget, the number of rooms being designed, and other variables. You may also begin with the Starter Program, and upgrade as necessary.
